Supporting those Navigating Divorce Due to Betrayal

How do our fears obstruct our ability to support partners considering divorce? We will explore key fears: women’s fears of disbelief, failing their faith, and solitude; and men’s fears of financial strain, exposure, and losing family ties. By having a comprehensive understanding of our own fears and our client’s fears concerning divorce, we can create a supportive environment that promotes healing and safety for those undergoing divorce.

Learning objectives:

1. Participants will be able to recognize key fears women experience during divorce.
2. Participants will be able to recognize key fears men experience during divorce.
3. This combined knowledge will help you constructive support for partners choosing divorce due to betrayal.
